Language lab is set up with the aim of offering effective training in improving the communication skills of the students. The Lab is used for conducting courses and programmes exclusively designed not only for the toppers but also for the average students. This lab is very helpful in language teaching as well as developing interactive and group communication skills in an effective manner. The students are given training in communication, confidence-building, career development, CV writing and self awareness
The library contains technical books, general books, newspapers and magazines. The library is open to the staff and the students of the college and the students show their identity card, as and when demanded. Strict silence shall be observed inside the library. Students are advised to make the best use of the library.
The college provides high speed Internet Broad Band facility to the students and staff-members. This connectivity is established through high throughput switches with complete redundancy ensuring that the network is live at all instance. The students can surf the net to gather unlimited information and increase their knowledge from various educational sites.
The homely swimming pool situated within the campus amidst thick greenery is a fresh-water, flat-bottom pool. Aquatic competitions are conducted every year for students. Hostelers use it extensively on Sundays.
The buses ply on the routes so that students and staff-members from all major parts of the city and around can easily approach the college
The College has excellent sports facilities, which are open to everyone, both serious athletes and those who prefer to join in just for fun.
To facilitate a great environment for presentation seminars, guest lectures, finishing school classes, Talent shows, meetings and cultural events we have two well furnished lecture theatres. A number of functions are also organised in these theatres throughout the year. 
PITS is one of the very few institutions in the region that has an exclusive 'Students Centre'. It houses the Cafeteria, Refectory, Mini General Stores, Browsing Lines, Gymnasium, Billiards, Snooker, Indoor Shuttle, Squash, Fencing, Boxing, Table Tennis, Students Lounge with Television, Carom and Chess Boards. These facilities ensure that the students are groomed well with a wide range of exposures.
Two well designed hostels are situated in the campus - 'The Rainbow Hostel'' for gentlemen & 'The Breeze Hostel' for ladies. The hostels are surrounded by lush greenery, lawns and have excellent facilities. Four-seater rooms, two-seater rooms and single rooms are available. Excellent food is served. 
Cafeteria provides students with a variety of snacks and beverages on all working days. In addition, lunch is available to students, staff and others
For promoting extra-curricular activities like singing, music, yoga, special talents and to maintain a talent bank for students as well as staff, there is a separate directorate to take care of these activities.
PITS is perhaps one of the handful of institutions in India to have a well designed Finishing School syllabus. About sixty hours per semester are earmarked for Finishing School training. Know More
