Students will be admitted into the hostels only after getting regular admission to the college
The Hostel reserves the right to refuse admission without assigning any reason whatsoever.
The Instructions of the Hostel Director and the Warden should be followed.
All Hostel students should attend classes and practicals regularly.
Absence from classes without prior permission of the Warden is a serious offence. In such cases the parents will be duly informed. Daily absentees list of hostellers will be provided to wardens. Absentees should meet the warden compulsorily.
Study hours and silence hours should be strictly observed.
Cell phones are discouraged. Cell phones should be switched off during silence/study hours- if found ringing or if used, they will be confiscated.
Students should not create any inconvenience to their hostel mates.
Students should remain inside their rooms during the silence hours. Room doors should be fully open from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. & 8.45 p.m. to 9.15 p.m. to facilitate roll call/ attendance taking.
Cooking is not allowed inside the room.
Use of private TV is prohibited.
Students should not possess any valuables.
No guests / visitors are allowed into the Hostel premises. Parents and authorized visitors will have to meet the warden first for seeing the students. Entry is completely restricted to ladies hostel. No visitors who are not authorized by parents will be allowed. Parents and other authorized visitors will not be allowed beyond the visitors’ enclosure near the security gate.
No students should go out of the Hostel premises during silence and sleep hours without the permission of the Warden.
All students should play games compulsorily in the evening.
Smoking, taking liquor and drugs are strictly prohibited and will lead to dismissal from the Hostel.
Owning valuables are discouraged. The management will not be responsible for theft of valuables / costly items. Students should secure and safe guard their belongings.
Students are advised not to mingle with unknown local people.
Motorbikes not allowed.
Free time to go out of the campus on Sundays and holidays in the evenings from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. will be permitted for boys and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. for girls. Granting other special permission will be at the discretion of the warden.
All rules of common sense apply. Non adherence to rules / serious violation will result in suspension/dismissal from the hostel with fines.
